Hey everyone, I have some big news for what’s happening with Dollhouse. It’s been a really hard decision for me to make, but I’ve decided that I need to take a hiatus from Dollhouse for a while. Like, until July 2018. I love my comic a lot, but the past several months have been extremely stressful for me and there have been a handful of things that have lead me to making this decision. While TCAF was a really fun trip, I didn’t even come close to breaking even on expenses, the Kickstarter didn’t reach it’s funding goal, and it’s left me feeling pretty defeated. I work 3 jobs including Dollhouse to make ends meet and honestly haven’t given myself a legitimate break from it in years. Right now, I really need one.

I’ll still technically be working on Dollhouse, and I have every intention of seeing it to completion (which will be a while yet, I plan for it being 16 chapters long total). I’ll continue posting chapter 9 online, but as I finish pages rather than every Tuesday and Thursday. After that, there will be no public online updates until July 2018. I’ll still be drawing chapter 10, but will only be posting those pages on Patreon. I’m hoping this bit of breathing room will allow me some more creative space to grow as an artist, and will give me time to finish writing the last several chapters of Dollhouse too.

To those of you who backed the Kickstarter, thank you so much for your support, I’m sorry it didn’t make it’s goal. I have intentions of relaunching it someday, but I just don’t really want to think about it right now.

Thank you all for reading my comic and understanding, I hope you’ll stick with it when I start it back up again next year!
